As I tread along the sandy shores, letting the cold salty water touch my feet and enjoying the warmth of the blazing sun, I came upon a child and watched him for a while. Busily he was piling up the golden grains of sand along the edge of the shore with his  tiny bare hands. Slowly and methodically did he work building a sandcastle as if it was but a dream that he is shaping to become a reality. As he was about to be done with his task, there rolled a big wave that slowly washed away part of its wall. The child hurriedly piled up more sand only to be washed away by another wave. Again he piled more sand, only to be washed away by another wave, and he piled more sand once more, again was washed away. The battle raged against the child and the rolling waves, and this went on for a while until the child grew tired and went away...
I watched the sandcastle slowly washed away by the victorious waves then I pondered at the sight. There I saw humanity with its sandcastles slowly being washed away by the waves of fate...Can humanity change its fate? I bemused to myself...
I continued to walk along the sandy shore and then saw an old man with a stick in his hand with which he engraved vague markings on the sand and hastily did I inquire, what he had written. He looked up at me, with eyes that seem to probe the very core of my thoughts, and his lips quivered as if he had found in the firmament an image of distant time...and with a deep voice replied, "It is your answer". And he walked away leaving me puzzled by his response...I too walked away from the shore and kept wondering what the man had meant...but as I reached the top of the hill and looked down the shore, there I gazed upon clearly written on the golden sand the word "LOVE".

the mountains, trees, and rivers change their appearance with the vicissitudes of times and season's as a man changes with his experiences and emotions.

Passing Thoughts

time, is it the endless ticking of a clock to show the second, minute, or the hour has passed. Or is it the rising of the sun to show the day or is it the setting of the sun to show the night has begun...
is it the many times the moon light up the night, or the end of the changing seasons to find that we've finally encircled the sun, or does time even exist at all or is it just in our mind...

can the measureless and immeasurable be measured: for in each tick of time, it is still divisible to infinitesimal figure; for the rising and setting of the sun has not ended since time begun; can time therefore exist but in a limited mind.

for as the very moon of our earth circles around us, and we ourselves encircles the sun, so does the sun encircles the galaxy to which it exist, and our galaxy encircles the universe, from one heaven to another, the whole universe in one motion moving infinitely...

so we therefore adjust our conduct and even direct the course of our fate according to the hours and the seasons...there exist in each of us the timeless which is aware of the timelessness, and knows that yesterday is but todays memory and tomorrow is but todays dreams...
